Vis carbon fiber hood was on the car when I bought it. Seems to have an oxidation issue. My brother in law buffed it and it helped quite a bit. We washed it to do a finisher and en wax and it started to creep back in certain spots. In the sun the cf matte has more of a green hue to it. I like the design of the hood and if i could remove all effects of e oxidation I would keep it. Could it be painted black and cleared? I read on Vis hoods and they are supposed to have uv protection but being this hood was on the car from the previous owner I don't know what was already done to it. Any ideas of what I can try or heck does anyone want to trade hoods

I went out and worked on it some more. It is a little better but when it gets wet it fogs back up. Let me try to grab a few pics
