props on the work. Looks cleanly done, but it's not my thing. The filled rear door seam is a nice touch though.

That is pretty sick man.. judging by the gas tank lid being moved, different exhaust, no rear door seam and the sick paint job, you put some serious time and $ into this baby..

i know this isnt the #1 question people want to answer, but i (and prob many others) are dying to know.. how many hrs/$ did you put into this bad boy..im gonna go out on a limb and say theres some nice engine work to match the wicked body, too.

i can appreciaite the amount of work that went into this.

but it looks an attempt to make the veilside rx7 widebody with a dash of funnycar dragster thrown in. it looks.....like something out of need for speed.

Wow, impressive indeed. I could totally see this in Wining White Pearl, Velocity Red Mica, or Stormy Blue. My only gripes are that the wheels seem lost in the shuffle.

I've always wanted to use that emoticon and I felt this was an appropriate time for it.

I sort of agree with 9krpmrx8. Very impressive but I think filling out those wheel wells will make a HUGE visual improvement.

looks good. My only complaint would be the front fenders. There has to be a way to tie them in and make it a cleaner look. They just look like they are slapped on and a squared look compared to the curves of the rest of the body. Also some more agressive wheels and the power to turn them would finish it up nice.

Really glad someone else noticed that... now that I've seen it I can't not see it and it's really ruining the look for me. The front fender does seem a bit much but that doesn't bug me nearly as much as the angles in the wheel wells.

The rear wheels look alright, but the front definitely needs more aggressive wheels. That said, a little more aggressive in the rear wouldn't hurt either.

I have really mixed feelings about this. I dont care for the giant air ducts (which I presume aren't functional) but I have always said that the RX-8 needs more rear fender. The vents behind the front wheel are a bit too large, and I dont like that the rear doors have been deleted. On looks alone, this looks really good. It kind of reminds me of a big Lotus Elise. I think I would like to see more function, though.

props for the time, effort, and, most importantly, CASH put into this baby, but my question is: what's the reason? is it going to be a show car? probably, but who knows. maybe not.

lot of work went into this one. not sure how I feel about it, but kudos for thinking out of the box. Car looks like it came out of a video game.

Lots of work, that's for sure. Kudo's for that.
Not thrilled about the wheel wells either......just my opinion though.
Seems like front brake heat will be well ventilated, but what about road debris and water?

All personal tastes aside, this car would be a great resume' for custom bodywork. Talent is talent, not every artist makes a masterpiece. But it looks good is the general thought but just needs some editing. But as a total thing, I'd hire you to do body work.

You thought outside the box in incorporating the look of the Fortune kit while being creative in actually removing the rear doors. Just start editing yourself and you will be able to go from concept to polished finished product. Right now it still looks like a concept. Edit it down, bring back SOME essence of the original body and it will be ******* amazing.
