Where cars meet in DFW area

I live in Lewisville and wanted to take a drive and maybe meet up with some other cars.

Where do people gather with tuners in the DFW area?

Its been thought of but alot of members left, got married, had kids, lost their jobs, sold the 8, etc... People are busy nowadays and since the RX-8 is now a older car thats about to end production less people come.

I have a rx8club.com sticker... but other than that, thats it...

EDIT: Not to mention the bad rep the RX-8 gets, it doesnt sell anymore and no one wants one... that contributes to why there has been no meets

We used to meet every week but the original members slowly fell in numbers and the few left are busy...(slackers)...

Ricekiller meets are fun, and DFW Mazdas is a good group too, I agree. Set up a meet on here, see if you can set something up!

I'll have to check out the RiceKiller and DFW Mazdas groups myself, I haven't been to any of those meets. With the lack of meetings sometimes with the DFW crew I will just go out on some of our routes myself because I just can't wait! I just went yesterday! I would have told you to meet up with me but I hadn't checked the club site sorry.

To those in the DFW crew that went to the last run in the McKinney area, there have been road improvements in some areas. The one bad spot that most of us have bottomed out on, where the right side of the 2 lane road was messed up, not level and causing us to go into the left lane to avoid, that is all fixed now! I know several of us have hit that hard but no more!

Main reason? Because too many people are too damn vocal about what they like/dont like while contributing absolutely nothing of value to club. With that many opinions and the cost involved in doing stickers like that, it just isn’t worth it.

Hey...I'm down to meet every week...If the majority of us can't meet every week, hell...Let's meet every other week...Just set a date and pick a place...For those who can't make it, or just don't feel like going, screw it...We should still attempt to meet as much as possible.

I understand people are busy, I really and honestly do...But we shouldn't wait around to meet only when certain people can.

Well that's kinda the beauty of this club. If you want to meet more, then set up some meets! There are no "official" leaders, just people that tend to be the ones to set them up.
