Recall from Mazda in 2007

I heard everyone said that Mazda recall all the model 2004 to replace the engine, but how to get the new engine from mazda? Will they keep our car for a long term? and check something?

If it fails engine compression, have 11 oil change receipts, car within the 8yr, 80k mile warranty on the engine core, and no major modifications on the car (keep it stock). Am i missing anything else?
