Time for a new car... alternatives?
Time for a new car... alternatives?
So I'm on my second engine and it seems to be having Low compression issues. I'm at 105,000 miles so it's time for a different car. I picked the Rx-8 up for 14,500 and that's kinda my budget as of now. My budget is about 17,000ish.
I'm looking for a good alternative something that's not FWD (rear or all) and something that handles well, (not a muscle car). I've been looking at the EVO X but they are too expensive and the BMW M3 but the maintance is waaaay too expensive and they seem to have their share of issues.
Any ideas?

Just the plain Evo handle pretty well, maybe try like an older infiniti G, i hear those handle pretty well but start at like 45k so u would be looking at like a 04ish, hmmmmm 350z too possibly had a friend who had one and loved it. cant thinkg of my cars that handles like the 8 ive test drove a 2011 scion tc, genesis coupe, '07 spyder eclipse, 2011 cobra, '08 g6, and a few other and none of them were even close to the 8.
read back alot of those car are FWD

Well that's not encouraging
(I get a replacement this week).
I've looked around too (just in case), and there really isn't much out there that's like the 8. I've never driven one, but the Genesis (smaller engine version) is probably the most similar from the reviews I've read.
