Can we use this type of Oil in our RX8? Is it only for the rear-end differential or is it also for the gearbox?

Here in Europe,i donīt have many information about it,maybe you guys from USA can give me some more information.

You can use whatever you want but I think most people here love redline mt90, it works great. Also it says its for the diff and gearbox right on the site.

 

Of course, why not. You could use any oil you want, just make sure it's recommended for your vehicle. This is a free country and yours, use whatever you want

 

thanks ...can someone post what is recommended for our gearbox and differential?API GL 4 or API GL5?
Redline is almoust impossible to buy here in Europe,i found a group buy which offers Joe Gibbs racing gear oil,thatīs why i am asking.it is also a problem that in Europe there are no such a big RX8 commnunity as in USA,so we need to look for informations whats good for our cars and whatīs not here on this forum.

We cant use GL5 in our tranny's. There is a guy in Malta who sells Redline MT90,I'll send you a private message with his phone number.
