Not much room for a V6. Like the general outline. A RX-8 fastback. It's a four door - right? Wheels are too much IMHO. John

I'm guessing this is a concept from subaru. A friend sent me this pic and told me this concept is supposed to surpass a skyline in accleration and top speed. Its not like a new impreza, but a new subaru, something like that. I'm not too sure.

wow, the back end is ugly.

 

It's the Subaru B11S concept car - sort of a cross between a 350Z - perhaps a little RX-8 - and a hair trimmer. UGLY - John

Actually after a nose job it would be very decent looking. IMO a great leap forward by Subaru standards.

 

it kinda has influences from both the 8 (front and doors) and the 350z (rear)

it may be ugly, but I guarantee it will turn heads as well as stomachs..

 

Wouldn't be a V6... it'd be a flat 6 or a turbo flat 4. I'd bet on turbo flat 4.

OMG! Save us from ugly mugly cars. I thought Subaru had a real nice hybrid sports concept out. Where did this come from?

 

IMO most Subarus are not very easy on the eyes, but they go fast, and perhaps that's why, so we don't have to look at them for too long - lol If they built this it would probably have over 300 real HP - think about that.

 

It also has a "Bangle butt"... most BMW fans should know what that is.

Well, if something resembling it (and let's hope it gets a facelift) does see the light of day, then the RX-8 and Mazda should get a lot of credit... without Mazda taking the bold step to creatively package the 8 in such a way, I doubt the other automakers would be even considering the concept.

 

That is definately FUGLY from the front! I didn't mind the rear or the side views but that front has got to be redesigned.

I saw it in person and didn't think it looked that bad at all. The grill may be a bit of an issue though. Anything would look better than an Impreza. If it has the kind of performance advertised it'll be a killer.

 

Yup, it's a flat 6, turbo... good for 285kw or 382hp...

Might not be pretty, but it's going to be a monster if they ever take it past the concept stage.
