power loss and loud noises at high rpm

I think my coils are going bad. Car is at 97k miles afterall, and I got it with 67k miles. Any guesses on what's up?

Way to little information for us to help you. Try painting a picture. Remember we are not there to hear the car run, feel the car run, look at the motor, drive it. You need to paint a picture that we can see otherwise we can't help you.

Well, the car seems to have trouble idling sometimes, and sometimes it'll just completely turn off if I'm not in gear, like stopping at a stop light. I was also experiencing power loss going passed 4k rpm and loud noises from the intake 5K+ rpms.

Hmm, looks like the problem fixed itself overnight. Gonna replace the coils anyways for good measure.

Renesis555, can I get an update? I'm having very very similar issues. How's the car running after the new coils were put in?
