Good car dealership experience.
Just thought I'd post a good dealership experience.
Fairview Mazda in Montreal (WestIsland).
Brought the car in out of warranty, 2005 RX8 with 114 000KM.
Told them I had hard starting problems when the engine was warm and that it was probably the CAT (which is still under emissions warranty but not giving a CEL).
The guy calls me, says they reproduced the problem, have no CEL, but ordered the CAT and will replace it as a first step diagnostic
I was expecting to have to fight them over this.
They also ordered the clutch pedal bracket. Seems its a recall here in Canada as well. I think mine was slightly torn. So even out of warranty its a free fix.
The parts should be in so, I'll have it fixed next Tuesday morning.
Its just nice not to have to fight with the dealership about fixing things under warranty that should be.
