If anything could make this club better, it'd be an iPhone app.
I sit on here enough, I know, but now I've been itching to stand around at work, and read all the new posts while we are slow, without using my browser.

If the iPhone app does happen to show up anytime soon, don't expect me to be on for much longer. I may not be able to pay my phone bill long after I lose my job. Some posts may be to entertaining to even bother with work ("cough" 300 rwhp n/a, "cough" A/T sucks)... nuff said

I'd just like to throw out something. If you think I like reading the posts about 300 hp n/a and A/T sucks, wellllllll I wasnt talking about how I like to get my A/T to 300 hp. I'm saying that I find it very entertaining at the stupid posts some people will post and the responses others have to say.

Lord I hope I didnt just make this worse... lol

By the way, I dont have a a 300 hp A/T. I have a bone stock M/T

I use the mobile site from my phones browser here and there. Just thought I'd suggest an iPhone app, but didn't expect to get flamed so quickly.

I think some of you took this the wrong way. lol

 

There is an app out there already. It's called Tapatalk. It works really well. There are already 2 or 3 posts about it in this section. It has already been stated that it will not be implemented even though it's free to do. IB decided to make the somewhat functional mobile site instead.

You got flamed because it's a topic that's already been covered in depth and your op was barely coherent and just added to the stupid posts vs. picking on them which i think was your intent.

 

plus this site surfs just fine in full web browser mode on teh iPwn, many times better than on a PC browser

 

Well I'd like to apologize for my stupidity. I tried searching a little here and there about the iPhone app before posting this, but didn't even think twice about just skimming threw here in this section, and that was my biggest mistake.

Feel free to put me in the hall of flame for this and especially my first reply back to Mazurfer because I am now a little embarrassed. Just one request. Please be gentle on the rest of the flaming I deserve it.

Now excuse me while I stay away from posting anything else for a while...

 

Oh come on guys, with as many tech. nerds we have on this forum we can't get an iphone app? The mobile version sucks, sorry but I'm throwing that out there. Sadly though the full version does run better and faster on my iphone than on my PC. When the hell did smart phones become better and faster on 3G than PCs with cable internet??

You can always tell how many losers are on here by how many complain about the stupid post then keep them going by posting replies, and I am one of them lol. It's sunday people! Do we have nothing else better to do? I apprently don't but thats because I'm lame. What's ya'lls excuse lol?

 

I don't have any problem with the mobile version. However, reading classifieds on the mobile version - while using the iphone is like your reading a page zoomed in 300% and you need to scroll around a lot to read it.

Perhaps a "word wrap" kind of an idea would help here. Just a suggestion instead of stepping in here to post pointless **** like 50% of members seem to love doing jacking up their post count. Just saying.

 

The mobile version really isn't that bad; however, NASIOC has an app which is kind of nice. If one is done for iPhone, can one be made for Androids too?

 

I still like tapatalk. I want all my forums in one app so I can view them all quickly and easily

rx8club wont use tapatalk but its great for many other forums... I have it on my HTC Evo

I work in conjuction with Dani Sax Company (www.danisax.com). I've been thinking about working on a rx8 app myself anyway. If rx8club never decides to do one i probably will do one of my own.

EDIT: and while the Tapa talk allows you to see the forum, I would envision something better for an "official app". Not only would you be able to access the forum, but It would have everything streamlined. For example, you wouldnt have to goto the forum to see the DIY. There would be an actual section in the app. Maybe I should make a demo of what I mean. I could post screenshots. Im right by my mac i can drum something up real quick
