I have a very low mile (approx 6k when removed) full 06 shinka suspension. I know there are several members looking for individual parts ie rear shocks, yellow dot sways, front shocks, springs. I will separate these so shoot me an offer. The 2006 shinka had an upgrade suspension "The RX-8 SHINKA Special Edition features an upgraded and uniquely tuned suspension with uprated shock absorbers." This would be a great replacement for a higher mileage 04+ rx8 series one. I would like to get $250.00 for the whole kit.

I also have a Access Port, We all know what these do!!! Unfortunately I only used it to clear codes........ This also has a vent clip attached with double sided tape, this can be easily removed. Include everything except the CD. I would like to get $350.00.

One more part, RX8 store test pipe. I had this installed and decided it was too loud, I had a local shop weld a resonator into it. It probably has about 15k on the resonator and about 5k without it on. I would like to see $75.00

can anyone tell me the thickness of these shinka sway bars from the stock bars?

 

I believe the shinka sway bar was the same as the non-shinka. The front cross member (part of the lower front subframe), was different, as were the shocks, but I think the springs and sways were the same.

 

if they are thicker its not noticeable. I can tell you this the shinka suspension has a purple dot on them, the sport has a yellow dot and the non-sport has a red dot.

So I know there's a difference but I'm not exactly sure what that could be.

Agreed, there could be, but then it might just be just a notation. Good to know about the dots though.

 

Well I know there's a dramatic difference between red dot and yellow dot.

At least that's what the miata guys say.

 

Shinka has Bilsteins I believe, foam filled cross members, that's about it.
