check oil
redline once a day
top up oil if needed
do more frequent oil changes
changes plugs and coils when needed
warm her up before stepping on the throttle hard (dont redline cold)
dont shut her off cold
search next time

Doesnt matter how many miles i have on mine. I was nice enough to tell you how to "treat" an rx8 while other people wouldve probably flamed the crap out of you and you ask how many miles i have Just say thank you at least lol.

^ the best, easiest and safest (without getting flamed) is to search. Think about it this car came out in 2004 .. 2003 for japan. Dont you think people have wondered and asked the same thing as you over these 7 years lol. Just try search. Type what ever you want to know in the search and see what pops up. If you dont find what you then big all means ask away. Good luck.

Regular scheduled maintenance and preventive maintenance is a plus. Check your oil once a week (depends on your driving habit and mileage driven per week). Take care of the car, the car will take care of you.

Actually knowing how many miles are on your car would be very relevant since you're giving him advice on how to take care of it. I'd be more inclined to listen to someone with 100,000 miles vs 15,000 miles.

Things I've done... Check oil, use a heavier weight, premix, Sohn adapter, replace cat, Seafoam. Things I will do... BHR ignition, Accessport.

It just depends on what you think is best for your car. I did a lot of reading on here before I bought...
