4 speed sucks!!!!
I have a 4 speed automatic rx8 it is freakin slow i want to know how to make it a little faster and quicker the cheap nd not a bunch of money plz be specfic thanks alot everyone
first, take the rear passenger wheel off. Once you do that, there is a button back there, you want to press that button 3 times. Next, be sure the wheel is STILL OFF, get in the drivers seat, and press the gas pedal, the brake, and the clutch. You will see the battery light flash, honk the horn. Go put the wheel back on, and that should have unlocked a solid 50hp

Make sure you dont put it on the intake though, has to connect to the left exhaust outlet in our cars.

Let's see: you did no research before buying the car, which you got a deal on, because it's a less-desirable model. Then you ask the experts because you're too lazy to spend a few hours reading up on the subject, assuming that they would know some magic trick that would turn the good deal into a firebeathing monster. Were there such a thing, one of the experts would have bought the cheap car and have done it themselves, no?

If you havent figured out theres basically nothing youre going to be able to do to your car other than FI to get it very fast.
You can do mods such as a mid-pipe and cobb accessport to get some hp but nothing like it seems that you want.
Okay search next time and you will find this info yourself without everyone thinking you're a moron.

Wanna make your 8 go fast? Get ready to drop close to 5 figures to swap your engine and tranny with a set that never belonged in your vehicle. Even FI will only get you so far with that tranny. Autos are only meant to look pretty...

I went read his earlier posts and I don't think he is. He's just ignorant and needs a little education. However, the troll posts that others have put up won't help. Continue hassling the noobs and the warnings will start being issued.
OP if you are truley interested in a manual put your car up for sale and use the proceeds to purchase a manual 8. I highly doubt that anyone here would be willing to trade a manual for your auto.
