New To The Forum - Looking To Buy An RX8
Hi Guys,
I am new to the forum, just joined up as I am considering buying an rx8 now I have seen how cheap the early models are going for. Just looking for some advice really. My budget is only around 3k but there seems to be a lot of 03 - 54 plate cars kicking around in that price range. Is there anything major to look out with on newer models? I know a lot had starting problems when hot and cold and also there seems to be a few for sale that are already needing an engine rebuild.
Any advice would be appreciated before I go part with cash and get my fingers burnt. Really looking forward to owning one, I remember when they came out and my boss had one but at the time I never thought I would have the chance to own one.

if i didn't have an 'oh ****' fund of 6k yes.
Coils, plugs, engines, catalyzers, fuel pumps, suspensions and brakes (since you live in your crappy weather) are items that have a good chance of going south if you don't treat them well.
