Dear Fellow RX-8r's,
I was wondering if anyone who has taken delivery of their car with the OEM spare tire fitted has noticed, does it come with the fix a flat and compressor, also? I haven't taken delivery of the RX-8 I have orderd for my wife, yet.

 

Yep- everyone gets the emergency kit, whether you pay for the spare or not.

One thing I do know is that the "fix a flat kit" fits with the spare tire in place. You just have to turn the handle of the kit to the rear of the car.

 

I have the spare tire mounted in the trunk and the "fix a flat kit" sits on the floor to the right of the tire. This doesn't leave much room for other items in the trunk, but the spare tire is within a nice "leather'type" cover, so it looks classy!

I put my repair kit on top of the spare after I added the spare to the car. I found that it tucked in very nicely on top of the new spare.
