Has anyone found an alternative to mounting the oem fog lights with a mazdaspeed front bumper without the mazdaspeed brackets (which are discontinued). I thought I saw perhaps the racing beat brackets for the type2 nose could work or maybe someone else has an alternative?

A guy in Ottawa glued a piece of metal to them and then to his car, i didn't see it done , but it was not even noticeable , I on the other hand have the brackets, try some dealerships in canada they may have some left over and send you some.

i may just give the racing beat brackets a try for $34...unless someone has some insight, I just ordered my MS front bumper and would like to keep my fogs without having to use zipties/adhesive etc.

Nice! You need to re-paint or touch-up that bumper.

I made my own out of some sheet metal, Cut and bent it to look like the MS brackets then tack welded a couple threaded mounting points so i could just bolt it all up like the MS does. Then I used black textured spray paint to clean it up. Cost like $10 at most..

Cant even tell from the front - little rough on the backside tho.
