I got a few emails with replies from someone using my account name on threads i never posted in. Is someone this retarded that they can't see that somehow they are logged in as someone else and can't click the Log out button. Maybe a mod could reply to this, and find out who it was by searching the records.

So whoever it was, that is too much of a moron, password is now changed, so **** off.

 

I wonder if the username switching issue would even be affected by changing your password? Seems like the problem is something to do with a user getting your session information and then just becoming your logged in user - no password needed.

Anyhow I agree that if someone notices they are logged in as someone else they should just log out and not post anything...

 

I deleted all the threads he posted as me. Only reason i signed up here is for support of Overloads custom module. I remember a while ago, i ended up getting some post made under my name saying "i'm gay." I figured someone was just trying to be funny to me since i was from the 6 forums instead, but i deleted that, and now i keep getting the posts.

No mods even replied to my private messages in the past either.

 

The mods should at least be able to figure out what IP the posts were coming from, and then see if they can correlate that with other posts from that IP to find out who it might be actually making them.

This thread, though, should probably be moved to a more appropriate forum like the Lounge or suggestions area...

exactly which mods did you send messages to? You sure didn't send any to me, because I always reply. And yes, this has been happening, and admin is working on a fix.

 

yesterday i read a post and someone under your name said something like "im not kevinp. why am i posting as him?"

 

Ya, i deleted that one as well.

You would think that if the person realized they were posting under someone else's name, they would stop and try and fix it...but no, he kept posting.
