I had my ABS and DSC light coming on every day or so. Turn the car off and back on and they were off for a while. Seemed worse when the car was cold.

Long story short, replaced the brake light switch and all is well. It was really hard to diagnose as when i checked the brake light function it always worked, except once i had to tap the pedal twice to get the light to come on. That gave me the clue and i just replaced it. Cheap fix at $34

I had the exact same issue and can confirm that replacing the brake light switch on the pedal assembly indeed fixed the problem.
