hi i have a 2004 rx8 automatic and i bought it as a project car it wont start but it cranks and tries to start but there is a loud boom from the intake area and it doesnt start. so i want to find a good rotary mechanic that will know the problem and not waste time and money not knowing rotary engines

i have already tried swapping from another rx8 ignicion coils and also spark plugs and also wires to no avail please help thanks
