5 km from the surface - Sounds like loss of life will be very likely

my heart goes out to everyone in christchurch and anyone who has family in the effected areas.

seems like past couple years AUS/NZ has had disaster after disaster.

I work for one of the larger insurers in NZ and the numbers are quite frankly terrifying ....
