Twisty Road commute

Hey all, first time owning a Japanese car, and I picked up a 2006 RX8 with 56K. Anyways just wanted to drop a line and see who all does a twisty road commute. I take ORTEGA HIGHWAY (St Rte 74) everyday, wondering if lowering and sway bars will help. Not that 60mph is a bad speed, just wondering if I can get a bit more confidence on the twisties. Used to running a bike, and well this is a bit different on this mountain pass, just wondering if anyone has any pointers from experience. Budget minded as I dont wish to waste money for nominal gains, I am looking for the bang for the buck as far a performance is concerned. Any suggestions?

you'd notice the most from good tires
then struts/springs or coilovers

Yeah, tires would probably be one of the best bangs for your buck... Some good coilovers would help too, but you would have to get some really good (expensive ones) to get a lot of real noticeable difference... Plus it never hurts to have good tires anyway

The 8 is pretty good with winding roads from the factory, though... You can take twisty roads much better with a stock 8 than you can with a lot of other stock cars... The 8 is already capable of doing most things that would be remotely safe to do on public roads haha.

Tires is a no brainer, and I totally agree on that one. A good sticky set is so important to a corner. As for the strut change, I was looking at Koni, as I rather not spend on a set of Stance (NEVER heard of them until now)
