All suspension specs and calculator!

Hi Guys, I've been playing with this for a long time. Here is the site with the calculator:

http://farnorthracing.com/autocross_secrets16.html

You'll have to enter all the specs by hand, but the good news is that I have attached a screen shot with all the specs filled out to the best of my ability. I've looked all over the message boards and used a variety of guess-timations and approximations to get all this as close as I can. It should be good starting point.

The one downside to this calculator is that it only does solid sway bars so the numbers on my screen shot are "converted." Basically I used a sway bar calculator to find how thick of a solid sway bar would be equivalent to our hollow bars.

Please post if you have better info and we can keep updating this to make it perfect!

Red, thanks for posting. Did you measure those unsprung weights, or are those estimates? Thanks.

Yes, thanks for posting. Same question about the CG and roll center heights - where did you get them?

Just estimated corner weights based on 52% front 48% back including my weight.

CG comes from the SSF=1.59 (static stability factor) which I found online (part of the rollover testing).

CG = TrackWidth/(2*SSF) = 18.6 inches

The roll center heights were posted on another forum, I'm a little skeptical about them but they seem reasonable.

Updated roll bar info

I have a better estimate on the sway bar sizes (updated spec screen shot attached) remember these are the "equivalent" solid sway bar diameters since the calculator does not allow for hollow bars.

To find the "solid bar diameter" I use this formula:

EquivalentSolidDiameter = (OD^4-ID^4)^(1/4)
