This past weekend while driving my car I was getting upto speed and going from 3rd to 4th gear I heard a loud POP! Instantly the clutch lost stiffness and became loose. It still went into gears thankfully and got me home and to the shop i on Monday of this week.

After reading through all the threads about the warranty on the clutch assembly I knew it was infact covered with the extended warranty someone posted. I found the actual letter and showed it to the mazda dealer. He had never seen it before. He called Tuesday to tell me that it is covered under the clutch assembly extended warranty. Car has 61,XXX miles on it. He ordered the parts that day and said he should know more info by Thursday or Friday. Well Friday is here and he finally calls me to tell me that he's not sure what warehouse the part is coming from because it is not the usual place. Also he says he had his parts dealer put a rush on it because it is on backorder. Now he will update me Monday or Tuesday with more info.

Has anybody else ran into this problem?
