I am looking at going to college at Bradley University in Peoria. Do we have any members located around there?

And if we do have any, what do you think of that area?

 

People in Peoria pop up from time to time. I think there was one a couple of months ago. Change the settings on this Forum so you can look back further and you should be able to find him.
We're not far away. Maybe you can join up with us a couple a times a year.

 

Yeah. I saw a thread asking about it around 6 months back or so, but there wasn't much in that thread. I know when I visited Peoria, I dropped into Hooters and saw an 8 there.

If I do end up going up to Bradley though, I will definitely make a trip or 2 up to Chicago a year.

 

I live in West Peoria - very close to Bradley. I've got a stock '05 Mettallic Grey RX-8 that I just bought literally last week and there's another person (that I haven't met yet) on my street that has a Black one (not sure on the year). Let me know if you want to cruise sometime. I usually just cruise with my buddy who's got a sick '95 Impala SS.

I'm from the Quad Cities originally. Spent a lot of time in Peoria. Caught a very early Mudvayne show there when they where nobodies. Most of Peoria is nice, till you cross the river to East Peoria. That place is a **** hole. At least the parts I have been in are.

ah-ha the search does 'somewhat' work. I see this thread hasn't had a post since Oct., but it's good to know there are other Peoria area folks on here.....just bought my 8 a couple of weeks ago, hope to see you all around
