Hello everyone I am new to this site. I just purchased a 04 RX8 so far I am loving it! I have a question does anyone know the basic price to add fog lights to these cars and how hard is it to put on? thanks in advance with any help or recommendations.

well for a person that knows NOTHING about wiring/cars...it will be extremely difficult to install

for a 20 yr technician/wiring expert....easiest thing they've done in 10 years...

so the real ? is how much do you know about wiring/electronics

 

I don't know about installing them I was going to get them professionaly installed

I got my rx8 with no foglights also. So I start looking up prices and they are around 150 to 250 the kit. They come with everything you need even the instruction manual. I don't know about other 8s but mine was already set up for the fog lights, I only had to install them and plug them, well you also have to change the whole light switch, wich it's included too. I only took me around half an hour to do it, It's not so hard.

Just check, where your fog lights supposed to go, if there's is a plug that doesn't connect anywhere. It's usually taped on the sides very close where the fog lights go. If you need pictures, I'll send you some so you can locate them.

And just check on Internet, there is plenty of sites that sell them. I hope the info helps!!! If you got any questions. Let me know.!!! Goood luckk with your rx8!!!!!
