The new print edition of this Mazda USA mag has quite a lot of rotary stuff in it, including a mention of the 16x. Based on this, one would conclude Mazda has no plans to kill it off - quite the contrary perhaps.

 

also in European official magazine ,there is an article that talks about rotary engine and 16x is cited as "next generation rotary engine"....

 

They are still showing the summer version on mazdausa.com.

 

Yes, I couldn't find it online either. If you're not on the mailing list, dealers often have the lying around. There's a nice little Mazda History poster for wall hanging inside too.

I got three issues before they quit sending it.

 

I flipped to the RX-8 page and my 3-yo daughter sitting next to me pointed to the image and say "That's your car! It's arex-eight!" I train her well.....

If the new Kodo transfers into reality in the form of the next RX-car, I'm there.

Thanks for the link. Although, I can't find too much info...just talks of all of Mazda's cars, nothing about a 16x, though.
