Burning brake smell

I just replaced my rear brake pads yesturday, and today while driving to work, whe. I stopes i noticed a burning smell. When I got out of the car I checked my rear brakes(since they were the last things i touched on the car) and I noticed a burning smell coming from the brakes and te rotor is too hot to touch. Anyone experienced this or know what I'd causing this?

Thanks

Normal smell.

New brakes need to be "bed in".

yea totally normal, use a bedding in procedure, or try not to brake erratically hard until you stop getting smell.
