Did the Mazda change the radio in the 2011 R3? From the Mazda website, I could not tell whether the old circular radio was continued in MY 2011 or not

Click Interior, go to the last pic. Looks like it's the same radio as the 2010 and 2009

 

Thanks! I missed that pic. An earlier pic in the same place you directed me to shows the 7" LCD screen adjusting the sound system for bass and treble. That had me thinking Mazda was doing the same thing as Porsche does with the Cayman: you get the same screen whether you opt for nav or not. Hate the look of the circular radio, but there are plenty of aftermarket options to address this

 

Yea the first few pics are those of the car with the optional navigation screen (not available for the R3)
