A/C glovebox rattle

Does anyone know what parts of the air conditioning system are right under/behind the glove box? A little while ago I had a loud rattle coming from down there.... The only way to make it stop was to cut the fan level to 0. It kept rattling when I turned the AC button to off so I'm assuming it must be something with the actual air conditioning fan itself and not something to do with the air cooling system.....

I cranked the AC up to 4 for a couple minutes and when I turned it back down the rattling had cut down to just a low whir that I think is probably normal....

It sounded like something involving the fan itself might be loose, but I doubt that something like that would have corrected itself like it did.

Any ideas what might be going on?

Thanks
