TheTexas8 2011

This poll is to strictly gather date information for planning purposes. Please vote for the day you CAN NOT make the trip. I know this is a little different than normal polls but please stick with this. Remember that we are talking about a whole weekend here, not just that Friday. The event starts around 7-8pm on Friday and ends pretty much the same time on Saturday with lots of people sticking around the hotel until people leave on Sunday.

Also a little roll call information would be nice aka who is planning to currently attend pretty much regardless of the dates.

Lastly, anyone voting on all of the dates will be discounted from the totals.

Disclaimer: this is not a thread for people to "vote" on the date of the meet. This is just to gauge which date seems to work best for the most amount of people.

**** I voted before reading . The earlier in April the better since a few of us are going to Vegas for the WHIV meet in May.

^+1 the earlier the better

not to mention, if there is still a chill in the air the chances we will have problems with bikes will be minimal

Several actually. Temperatures for one, hotel rates for 2. The closer to May you get the closer to the "busy season" you get and the rates go up.

If this were cancun or Colorada you'd be correct, but since its the sticks of Texas, you'd be mistaken.

Last year it was in San Antonio and I thought it went very well but we'll see what Riley decides since this is his deal. It's close for us either way.

I don't see why I wouldn't be able to make this. At the same time I don't plan that far ahead either.

I'm going to guess that the weekend of the 22nd will probably be out for a lot of folks because that's Easter weekend.
