Brake lights won't work

Hi there!

There are similar threads already on this forum, but none have the specific same conditions that I have, so here goes:

ABS and DSC lights came on one day after short drive and have been turning on ever since every time after first firm braking. They stay on until I turn the car off and start it up again. No blinking, just on.

I read somewhere that this could be caused by burned break lights, so I checked and noticed that all three (!) brake lights were not responding at all by braking. The running lights in the same bulbs are working normally.
I checked the STOP fuse and it was burned, so I replaced it, but it helped nothing. Then I checked one of the bulbs, which was just fine. No corrosion or deposits and the wire was still unbroken.
I checked the trigger above the brake pedal by removing the plug and using a seperate piece of wiring to make a connection, this didn't turn on the brakes, so it shouldn't be a problem with it either, right?
I checked the leads going from the trunk lip to the trunk lid for the third brake light and the rubbers were as good as new, so no problem there.

So, what suggestions do you guys have? I have no brake lights, no DSC and no ABS. What can I check next? I'd like to check all the small things before I give up and take my car to a local Mazda dealer so that they can rob me for applying WD-40 to some sensor or something.

Thanks for all the help in advance.

any aftermarket wiring / bulbs?
I saw a similar issue with a local owner once and it was being caused by an LED bulb that was being used as a 3rd brake light.

I don't remember all of the details but they swapped the bulb and it fixed the issue.

Hi, thanks for fast reply!

I do have the footwell led lights and wired N2O bottle opener, heater and nitrous system. All these installs have been made over two years ago though and have been working perfectly normal ever since.

Should I try unplugging all of them for a test anyways?

Any other ideas?

did you check the fuses?

For the fun of it.... did you turn the wheel all the way to the right and then all the way to the left?

Yes, I did.
The DSC reset shouldn't be relevant to the brake lights, but yes, I did that too and again...NADA.
