Alright guys/gals,

Here it is.
This is the thread where we'll post some pics up and see which 12 (yes, 12!) will make it to the 2011 calendar.

The pics in this thread doesn't have to be ridiculously big, just big enough to get the people to vote on the ones they like.
As soon as I tally up which pics will make the cut, I'll contact the people to email me a high res (at least 1MB file) of the pic in question.

Please don't be shy about posting up pics. Keep in mind, any pics submitted in this thread, will go towards the calendar so you're essentially saying "yes, you can use my pic".

It can be moving shots, still shots, group shots, scenic shots, etc.

I think we can leave out "women/car" shots out of this calendar. I can always start another submission if that's what people want. Last thing I want to do is offend someone or make this into another "Hot girl posing on Hot car" type of calendar.

So there you have it.

Oh, the calendar itself will be decent. It'll be bigger than 8x11, but not so crazy big it'll take up a huge wall space.

First come the photos.

Deadline for photo submissions and voting will be the end of this month.
The finalized layout should be complete by mid Nov, with the calendars being shipped shortly after.

Just to give people what I meant by "decent" calendar, right now we're aiming at $20Cdn per calendar. It might be a bit more or less depending on how many orders we get, and shipping, etc.

First, lets concentrate on the photos!

are we submitting ourselves or can we submit pics of other people's cars if they don't log on a lot

then you could get their approval to use their car of course

 

I'd prefer the pics come from the people who post.
I don't want to step on anyone's toes regarding the pics.
If it shows up in here, assumption will be we'll be allowed to use it. People who post the pic will be contacted by me.

ie; we could end up with 4 or 5 Brilliant Blacks in a 12 month calendar...

ongoing voting my be hard to keep up with. i mean, it might work better to have NO voting now...everyone just post pics; then we CLOSE the posting and vote then...that way every see's everyone's pictures at the same time and can pick their 12. otherwise, i might vote for someone's car, but then want to change a vote for late submission, ya know?

I agree. I think it's a good idea to vote AFTER all pics have been submitted.
