How much would it cost me to swap 05+ Engine in to a 04 rx8?? Would be better just to rebuilt the 04 engine?? Please reply the best you can.. Thank you for reading..

 

If it is a manual to manual swap then there is no difference really in the engines.

My '04 engine has done over 220,000Km and is running perfectly.

There is nothing wrong with the 04 engine. they wouldn't sell it unless it was good.

Swapping an 05 engine is going to do nothing except cost you money for the same thing.

Its like swapping a 25 yr old girlfriend for a 24 yr old one. No real difference
