Oops, FAIL! tires..

Well i had to get new tires, and i was running stock 225,45,18.
I decided to go wider in back so my set of tires i ordered were 255,45,18.

Well I failed, now it rubs inside part of the lip of fender when i turn. When sitting i can just get my index finger between the rim and fender. What do i do now?

255/45, that's a lotta rubber.
I would think getting the fenders rolled would help out. I'd try that first before selling them. You're on S-Techs so your'e not THAT low that it'll be impossible.

i went 45 because that's what was on there, and they didnt look like alot of rubber with the potenza's

shows how much i know on tires

Lesson learned, if you dont know wtf you are doing, stick to the stock specs!! Dumbass award of the day@

on stock size wheels 18x8 you could have gone 245/40/18 or as stated 255/35/18

Sell them on Craigslist.....

Roll the fenders you should be fine. Someone in your local autox community should have a fender roller and you can do it yourself. There is a pretty big lip inside the fender that can be folded back.

Lesson learned for next time.
