Anyone know if the Series I side aero flares will fit a Series II body?

I can't see where the bodywork in this area has changed on the Series II, and yet Mazda no longer offers these flares for them (possibly because they are intended to go along with the Series I flares behind the rear wheel?).

 

I would think these would still work with Series II. The front splash guards have different part numbers but I think because the front fenders are changed. I don't see a difference where the aero flares mount either.
