Hey guys,

My newly upgraded turbo'd car should be done towards the middle/end of september =) but I need to pass the dreaded NJ inspection. =(

I was wondering if anyone local would be kind enough to let me borrow their CAT if you're already running a midpipe and have it off already.

I swear to just take off the int-x, put on the cat, and baby roll it into my shop. If you're looking to get rid of it and want to sell it for a reasonable price, I'd be interested in that too.

Either way, this would be a huge favor and I'd be glad to return one in anyway I can.

I live right across the George Washington Bridge and I'm willing to take a decent commute.

If anyone can help my car pass the inspection one way or another, take you out for a Ruth Chris steak or something lol

not really sure if cats are required anymore....... my friend with a tiburon is 100% catless and passed the nj DMV inspection.... they didnt look under the car so idk........... just some food for thought

 

You just need to pass an obd2 scan. Some cars won't throw a cel without the cat. The intx throws like 15 Cels. You'll have to drive cycle the car a few times to get all the emissions checks to set. I have a stock cat sitting around somewhere either in boonton or parsippany of you are still in need.
