Hey all,

I'd like to buy a stock CAT, preferably in Canada, with low miles, and it needs to be in good condition. Need to have flanges, Does not need o2 sensor.

Let me know!

Just FYI Mazda Canada just raised the price of the cat to almost $2500! It's pretty retarded.

I'd recommend getting an aftermarket cat and welding it into the pipe.

I'd use one of the many high-flows I have, but cops keep pulling me over (I've been towed twice), and it's beyond the point of fun to be honest. I'd prefer being quiet and legal

$2500 is ungodly.

pulled over for the noise or the smell? (mainly wondering if the hi-flows still give the smell)

and yea the price is pretty retarded... have a friend getting his done under warranty right now and that's what they quoted it at.

Both, actually..

Unnecessary noise in my high-flow..

Cop smelled me at a 4-way stop without a cat, got towed.

Cop heard how loud my car was and tailgated me for 10 minutes before pulling me over for a "license check", and I was towed there too for my high flow.

High-flows DO give a smell. Just a bit less than catless.

I'm a bit worried, I saw an RCMP LRV ( or some other armored wheeled vehicle ) a couple months ago, and even with my S/C, I can't outrun a machine gun, helicopter, or a road block
