alright this is going to be my last WTB thread. but here we are again. Hopefully this time around i get better luck. I'm located in the northwest suburbs of ILLINOIS.

Location: Although in state would obviously be preferred. At this point, location doesn't matter. With the right price (taking shipping charges in account) i'd buy even if you're across the country. and if it's not too many states away, it'd make for a nice road trip back home so no complaints there.
Transmission: 6 speed MT
Mileage: looking for low miles, not too high. so i'd say around 40-45k or below
Price range: preferably around the $12k-$13k range, but anything under that would definitely not be a problem. but $15k-$16k would still be considered, although it'd be kind of pushing it.
Color: in order.. BLACK, SILVER, WHITE although i might also consider titanium or galaxy gray.
Interior: open to pretty much anything. although leather is high on the list. and red/black leather combo would definitely be a plus.
Trim: Touring, Grand Touring, Shinka
Year: 2004+

As for appearance... appearance package+ would definitely be a plus. but if not it's alright.

against my will, i am forced to sell my 8 due to having a 3rd kid. i have done a fair amount of work done to the 8..... it has low miles (25k) and is in very good shape, have been garaged most of the time. i'm asking for $16,000 obo. i have all the OEM parts as well, except the wheels and tires. i'm located in CA...

 

all the nice rx8's are in CA. haha, but wow that's nice. what year is it.? and for having all OEM parts as well. price seems just about right. but it's near the end of my budget at the moment so i'll have to really think about this

Yea but California. Please allow me to insert a sanity check. Forum members won't be angered by it lol. Do you have money to burn cause if you do you should be looking at Series 2 anyway. Rx8 are not classic they are mass production and there is tons all over for sale. Remove emotion when buying big tix items. Send me the money...im broke.

rough estimates on shipping isn't as high as i thought they'd be. i was expecting it to be closer to the $2,000 range. but it's not. and i wish i could get a series 2. i've had my eyes on the 09 r3, there was an auction on ebay for it. i was so close. but i like the look of the series 1 over the series 2 (except the black r3).

yeah it's more than i'd like. good luck with the sale. high 50's in terms of miles is the highest i'll go. (parents got me in the habbit of 60k+ is pushing it) haha

 

the series 2 look is horrible compared to the series one in my mind personally the only way ild buy a series 2 is if i could swap the bumper and fenders off a series 1 for it

I have one, but it has a lot more miles than what you are looking. It has, however, been so well maintained by the dealers that every service including the 3000 mile oil changes are documented since 2004. Very well kept, looks and drives like new. If you are interested let me know. I am in Maryland and my price is fixed at $8500. You can do a whole lot to it to make it your own unique one at that price. Let me know.
