They look good. Looks like some knock off RE30's though... Although 18x8 at 20lbs is pretty heavy...My 18x9's only weigh 17.4lbs..

Thats pretty impressive although here in the UK we don't really have much of a choice with lightweight alloys the same with rx8 aftermarket parts! i wanna move to america lol

What's the offset?

You should run 245/40/18 so it will look better on the car.

Do they not make 9" or wider?

TBH offset is the only thing with alloys i don't really understand, their multifit alloys and its got the fitments as:

5x100/114.3 ET42 Multifit
5x114.3 ET30

i'm a bit confused which ones would i get if i was to get them? because by the look of it their both 5 stud with with a stud diameter of 114.3 so which ones would you buy?

It sounds like for the +42 offset they drill out both bolt patterns.

For the +30 offset they only drill 5x114.3 bolt pattern

For example

VS.

Someone correct me if I'm wrong

He could probably buy three sets of these for the price of your Volks

These are lighter than the factory wheels so he should be okay unless he is looking for a crash diet. 20lbs per wheel is not bad at all.

Hell tires of the same size can vary 3-5lbs between brands so don't get just caught up on wheel weights.

Yup confirmed. The way it's written you could go either way.

BUT THE BETTER OFFSET is +30 in 8" width. Considering the RX8 has a PCD or Boltpattern of 5x114.3 you are good to go.

Offset is the +42 or +30
5x100 or 5x114.3 is the boltpattern of the wheel.

You can google some of this info and get an illustration of the physical values.

Run a 245/40/18 on 18x8 +30 should be nice and flush for normal people, by my definition. lol.
