UK Re-Amemiya Super Dolphin Tail Catback Exhaust and Carbon Fibre Intake

Category: Engine - Power Adders
Price: $850
Private or Vendor Listing: Private Listing
Location (US State/Canada/Int): International
Item Condition: Used

For sale are two power increasing parts for Mazda RX-8 SE3P from Re-Amemiya, Japan - all in very good condition and stored in a garage.

1) Super Dolphin Tail Exhaust > adds 5-10ps, sounds incredible (did my research on all exhausts and this sounds the best by far!) and gives much needed improvements in torque. Price when new £1250

http://www.re-amemiya.co.jp/commodit...5ab6c&scd=9300

This also comes with the Super Chamber midpipe, which adds another 5ps. Price when new £285

http://www.re-amemiya.co.jp/commodit...ab6c&scd=10169

2) Super Intake Box in Wet Carbon > not only does this look really sweet in the engine bay, it sounds superb and adds another 7ps of power. Price when new £700

http://www.re-amemiya.co.jp/commodit...5ab6c&scd=8934

These are genuine parts that have come directly from Japan and that I have personally collected from Heathrow. The prices quoted are the list prices on www.re-amemiya.co.jp and this does not include the customs and excise charges that were paid.

I can confirm the power improvements these parts provide. With these modifications fitted and after a remap of the ECU my RX-8 gave 218 whp on the dyno, which is equivalent to 260HP at the fly. I upgraded these parts because although I love the 8, the engine sound is a bit dull and the car struggles for torque - these modifications solved both those problems!

Total cost when new for all parts: £2235 (excluding deliver and customs charges)
I am selling all parts quoted for £850.

These are for collection from my home address in London only.

Also available are a set of Inovit GTR 7.5x18" Alloy Wheels Finished in Black with Polished Lip in good condition. Price when new £430, available at £200 for the set.

http://www.inovit-alloy-wheels.co.uk...h-polished-lip

Any questions, do not hesitate to ask!

Jay

Smile Photos for you guys next week

OK!! That is quite a bit of interest, I thought I was the only RE-Amemiya fan outside of Japan! Thanks for all the good feedback.

I'll have some photos of the parts for you guys early next week.

For all you dudes in the States - you should come over, it'll be well worth it!! I guarantee it! LOL

seriously though, if you guys really like these parts, let me know and I can put you in touch with Inukai-san. He's RE's international salesperson, an ex-race car driver for Mazda and a really good and honourable guy. He makes regular trips to Europe and the US and if you take enough pieces to warrant his trip, he is very fair and reasonable with prices.

Just FYI, the airbox is a K&N filter in a full carbon box hhhhmmm. It was the first mod I put on and I remember driving around with the lid off - turned heads all day and by night, it woke up the whole neighbourhood! I had leadfoot all day! The noise, power and the way the revs flew up was highly addictive.

Glad these parts are going to other rotary enthusiasts - exactly the reason why I posted here first :D

It's hard to tell but it sounds ok. The tips need to be melted down and made into lawn art.

Photos of Super Intake Box

Hello all

As promised, attached are some pictures of the RE-Amemiya Super Air Intake Box in Carbon Fibre.

I purchased it in Sep '08 making it just under 2 years old. Any questions, let me know.

Cheers,

Ciao regazzo,

The pics are on the end of the thread, check them out. I can even send it to you in it's original box as you can see!!

It's no problem splitting it as I've had a few offers from the UK for the other bits already.

Cheers,
Jay

That is a resonated connector pipe. It bolts up to the CAT so it is not a midpipe. GLWS

I have worked with Inukai-san from RE as well, and he is cool. Speaks pretty good English, at least well enough to communicate via email with you =) He's a good guy, and has always replied promptly to any inquiries Ive had.

Hey RX8-Freak I already have the Super Dolphin Exhaust and yes it makes the car loud I pushed a 99db at the noise test at Cadwell Park last month with just the catback.
The Cat is a seperate part further up the exhaust system

But it does sound awesome.
