Hey Gang...

Looking for a good used 4 port motor to use as a project motor.

I use my 2004 AT RX8 as a daily driver...

I would like to build up a motor "slowly" (Cashflow)... add a turbo ect.... Then swap out the motor on a weekned when ready. Tune... and hope that it all works as planned. If so.. then I will sell the working motor from my car, or keep it for that..."just in case"... ha ha ha

Any ideas or thoughts on where one could get a good core for this type of venture... would be great.

You might have more success if you change {fs} to {wtb}

Do you want to buy an engine or do you just want to discuss your project? Either way, we have a problem. A discussion thread doesn't go here. It gets opened elsewhere and until you have a firm grasp on what you want to do.
If you want to get a 4 port engine, say so here. You will get replies from members. Your message is confusing.

I wanted to give a bit of detail of what I was trying to do.
I was looking for some advice from the knowlagable people here at RX8 club.
I do want to make sure that I was going down the right path, or is there a better way to go? I thought someone would advise me.

I was not looking to discuss my project in great detail here. I will ask those question in the main forums.


Preferred Choice:
I am looking for a used 4 port motor that requires a rebuild, as I would like to do that work myself. No core charge.

Or

If the above can't be met:
If I can find a motor already rebuilt at a decent price, without having to send them a "core", I would consider that as well.
