Tail Light Tinting

Alright, so I've just bought VHT Nite-Shade and I was reading that about a 1/4 of the color comes off after the first wash. I bought Krylon acrylic clear crystal gloss spray to put over it. Should I use the Krylon acrylic spray? Perhaps another brand or just screw the acrylic spray all together? Thanks help is very appreciated as I don't know much about painting etc.

I'l be back on forums later on, lunch is over at work

Nah I didn't use any coat over it just give it an hour or so in the sun to dry. As far as how many coats I don't really remember, hard part for me was getting both to match. Had to remove it later on though.. Cali is a POS state to live in if u wanna mod your car.

Thanks a ton buddy, I hope I don't have problems with the police here in Ontario. I mean they should have better things to do than harass me about translucent tail light tint...

Tails are tinted, along with the orange lights on the fenders. Looks half decent but it's dark out now, pics tomorrow =D

Or you could have a skilled Tint shop do it using special Lumar film for lights... Plus, it's easily reversible if you get in trouble with the law.
