my headunit is driving me nuts. every time I go over some rough surface, the headunit squeaks like theres a mouse inside it.
I found if I press the left upper corner of the headunit, it would stop squeaking, and its pressable. the right upper corner is solid, so I assume the left upper corner has something broken inside it making it rubbing against the center vent trim?
wonder if the dealer would take care of it under warranty, and my emergency button cover is broken as well.

 

I have that same issue, some squeak or rattle sound coming from the Bose Stereo head. I dont think anythings actually broken as much as i think some one at Mazda rushed through the design and some units are just noiser then others. BTW I have an 09 R3 too, and thanks for the info about the MIAC.
