2009 SII

All, I have OE Sirius and no navigation. I am in the planning / research stages of adding a carputer. In the process of the planning, I am trying to decide what to do with the addition of a GPS antenna and new sat receiver antenna.

Does anyone know any details on the shark fin / puck that is mounted on the roof of the car? Are both GPS and Sat antennas in there, what type of connection and the likes.

I would really rather not remove the headliner, if that is how you get to it, to find out.

Any info on the puck would be very helpful.

 

hmm.. don't remember ever seeing a thread about it.

Can always go down to your local dealers parts department and have them look it up for you.

 

I thought about that too. I will probably give them a call in the morning and see if they can look it up.
