tranny gone
while in first gear i felt a pop come from the transmission, and then every shift was really rough getting into gear?? possibilities

pedal feels like in my not be engaged right its not consistent and i hear a "clink" noise when i get to a complete stop. getting into first and second just doesnt feel right

Check and make sure that you have the correct amount of tranny fluid. If so one way to find out if it's the tranny is to disconnect the linkage at the transmission and put it in gear there.
