Then the CF strut brace

IMAG0029.jpg?t=1273540594

I will get better pics of the car soon, I have the knight sprots front vents as well. The strut brace stiffened the heck out of the car, crazy difference.

Agreed... how do you add oil??? Take the whole thing off... meh, plus it probably holds in heat as well, it negates the bonus bracing with extra heat...

Looks kinda cool though, but my Mazdaspeed Strut bar is just as good and also has a MC brace....

it is 100% composite. the center rotor shaped cover comes off so you can add / change oil. It bolts to the fire wall in 5 places, unlike some of the others that only bolt to the fire wall in 2 places. its fairly light for what it is, probably less than 5 lbs or so. as far as holding in heat.... not much differant than the hood with fiberglass fabric on the underside about an inch above it where the brace currently is, or the oem engine cover. The brace is used on the Knight Sports race car in Japan, so its a track proven part. what i know rite now; is that it stiffened the hell out of the front end of the car. with the MS coilovers, sway bars, and a couple of other susspension goodies im almost track ready! Really just waiting on my Wheels now.

Thanks for the complements

HA HA yah, have a stagard set of work VS XX wheels on the way, they missed the boat so i wont get them until the beg of next month.

I have never been a fan of the wheels i have on my car, hit a pot hole on the freeway in the middle of the night took both passenger wheels out, and it was all lesschwab could get on a sat. to get me going again.

Yah, thats why i went with MS coilovers and sways vs others. it is actually perfect! The stiffness from the brace was just very noticable and its in the chassis not the susspension. its not like my MX3 at all. I have Koni's with ground controls and cusco camber plates, etc on it and it is like riding on rails. it will beet the **** out of ya literally.

And Corksport would be the place to go if your intrested in getting something from Knight Sports.
