Bucket seats and airbag deployment

Since i've read in a couple of threads that the airbag computer retrieves some informations on the seat position to better set the deployment i thought i'd ask what would happen in the event of a crash with a bucket seat.
When wearing a helmet i always remove the fuse and turn'em off but many tracks are pretty far away from where I live so i'd like to know something more about this opportunity...
That's also because i'm lazy and I could leave the bucket seats on for a few days after the event

Thank you!

You want it functional or not with bucket seat?

There is a loop in the seat because there is side airbag from the seats.

I use a 2 ohm resistor in the circuit and I make sure I have air bag for the rest of the car, including the steering wheel.

Removing the side airbag doesn't kill the rest of the system

the resistor only keeps the airbag light from displaying on the dash

there is a magnetic switch on the drivers side rail senses a metal rail based on seat position. I believe it either senses it or not i.e. 2 positions only. I'm not sure which position it defaults too, but assume it would be the far position

That's the problem, i usually set the rails to the middle and having the airbag set-up on the far position wouldn't be fun for my nose in the event of a crash

I guess that setting the sensor to work on the other rails is impossible or impractical to say the least...

All this mess because i'm too lazy to do a 30min job and swap back immediately after the day

Thanks for the replies anyway!

UP !

I now use bucket seat for all day driving.
I pluged the belt sensor so no problem her.

BUT, I do not know how to make the car think the air bag are still avaible (no light on the dashboard)
