So normally I wouldn't worry about this since it does nothing to hinder performance. But I am selling the car and would rather not have a cel staring at you. The cel is p0410. I have replaced 2 air pumps, the acv, gaskets, air pump relay, swapped cats with one with 7k miles on it, fuses are good.....and I still get the cel. The only other thing I can think of is pcm malfunction. The pump runs on cold startup and sounds completely normal. I'm out of ideas. Any help is appreciated. Thanks guys.

Seems like you covered the basics... have you inspected/swapped the solenoid?

 

which solenoid is this..? the one right behind the alternator on the UIM?

 

Its almost right in front of the oil filter.
The easiest way to get to it is to remove the UIM.
You'll see three solenoids stacked on top of each other.
The AIR is the top one, the SSV is the middle one, and the VDI is the bottom solenoid.

 

Ah yes, I know the one. I forgot all about that little guy...

I had it capped off for a long time since I was boosted and deleted my air pump. Maybe it got messed up during the numerous times I uninstalled my UIM...

Thanks for the idea....that's the only other part I have not tried replacing yet.
