Lol nice, this looks awesome. If we get against some hard competition this could even out the bad reputation the rotary engine has ... Lol just imagine a twin turbo RX-7 versus a Vette... and the FD just spanking it... whew that'd be pretty awesome

and btw Rotarygod has a NA FC RX-7, he doesnt own a RX-8... the RX8 is faster than his car...

We need to send someone with a 20b, turbo, or sc, and - most importantly - lots of track experience. The road course section will come down to driving skill more than anything.

 

This is true, but first of all... are we even going to be on the show??? AND are we even allowed to have a FI RX8 when the come NA?

 

On the video page it just says "Selected cars had to be street legal, running DOT approved tires."

We'd probably get mauled in the drag race, but I think the road course will be a matter of skill more than anything.

Unfortunately, these things never take subjective aspects into account. Also, I'm not sure I want the reputation of the club/car resting on one random person and a couple races.

 

^^^ Yeah, having the Rep of the club/car resting on one random person could be pretty tough, Id hate for us to lose, but if it happened I hope we dont have some cocky person like from the 350z forums, he was a scrub, he could probably take me in a race but still... well who has a nice TC or SC 8 and would love to race? lol

 

I found this post on stangnet. looks like they already did all of it. I doubt we're in it or we would have heard about it months ago.

 

Ahh, makes sense... DAMN well make next time I suppose... Would of been fun to see a FD or and RX-8 compete with some of the cars... whew, oh well... maybe in the future...
