Well I am now the proud owner of a 2007 Mazda RX8. It's a White Shinka with only 5000 miles! The first owner only drove it occasionally in the summer and stored it over winter. I've been looking at Subaru STI's mainly for the last year and just couldn't pass up the deal on this car. My buddy has an rx8 that's automatic and I've always loved how the car drove. I pick it up on Friday so I'll post up some pictures then.

 

Correct me if I am wrong but there was no Shinka in 2007.

 

I thought it was a Shinka. White with white leather interior with all of the options. If it's not then oh well, it's still a grand touring.

 

I believe 9krpm is right - Shinka's were 05 and 06.

Although white leather interior is damn hot... I wish I had white leather in my WWP...

 

It must be the sand interior then. Either way still awesome. There is a local member here with a stormy blue with that interior and it is awesome.

AHHHH so jealous.

I wanted white, and sand interior! haha get the appearence package from aspartsexpress on ebay. It transforms the whole look.

Now to figure out what parts to buy. Cobb AP is already on order, then an AFE short shifter, then gotta figure out what type of suspension setup to get once all the snow melts.

 

Welcome. Love the Sand interior, but it does require a bit more TLC to keep it in nice shape.

Congrats! I have always liked that setup, I was gonna say that it looks like an 06 Shinka in White, but it has the aluminum center application instead of the piano black and I don't see the Shinka badge.

Regardless it is a very nice looking 8 and practically the same as a Shinka, nice find! Read all the FAQs to maintain your car.
